Perfect knitting weather today--as soon as I get my housework done. This afternoon we are expecting blizzard conditions with 40 mph winds. Living 4 miles in from Lake Huron, we are also getting some bonus lake effect snow. The best thing about it is that it's the weekend, I don't have to go anywhere!

Poor St. Francis...

I guess I should have knit him a sweater, too.

Poor St. Francis...he is going to be buried under all that snow. We are supposed to get 6-12 inches. Is it spring yet?

What a beautiful blog! I love poor Saint Francis and his scarf and hat! It is truly a great weekend to stay in and knit in Metamora too. (After work and church...I think I'll leave the housework until tomorrow!)

Hi Again,
I just read your 100 things list. It looks like we have quite a few things in common, on a few things we differ, and finally, I wish some of your things could be on my list. I wish I were good with money and I am not(yet). However, I am a librarian!!! But, even as a librarian, I too, have a love-hate relationship with my job!

Hi Susan,
At first I thought my sister Susan had found my blog! I had to re-read my 100 things to see what exactly I said about myself. I'm from Dryden originally--lived there 30+ years. Do you have a blog?

I am sooooo envious of all that snow. We are just getting slush and cold wet rain and ice and then rain again.

Still it makes for good knitting weather here too. Saw your post on the KR forum thread about mature bloggers and just had to check everybody out!

Cheers.
